Understanding of Fasting
Fasting in a language is to refrain from something. While the terminology, is to refrain from breaking the fast during the day along with the intention to fast for someone who has been required since the appearance of dawn until sunset.
Details, fasting is to maintain the jobs that may invalidate fasting such as eating, drinking, and intercourse on throughout the day (from dawn until sundown. Fasting obligatory upon a Muslim who Baligh, intelligent, clean from haidl and parturition, with the intention sincere solely because God ta'aala.
SOME avail fasting
Fasting has many benefits for us psychologically and physically, among others:
1. Fasting is submission, obedience, and Allah swt keta'atan., Then there is no reward of those who do it unless the reward is abundant and to her right to enter Paradise through special doors called "Ar-Rayyan". People who fasted also be kept away from a painful punishment and abolished all previous sins. Obedient to Allah means to believe they should be eased from all his business because indirectly by fasting we are led to be cautious, that is doing all the orders and away from its ban. As contained in surah Al-Baqarah: 183, which reads: "O ye who believe are required for you to fast as the people before you, that ye may fear Allah."
2. Fasting is also a means to train yourself in a variety of issues such as jihad nafsi, against interference demons, be patient for the disasters that befall. From the description above we can conclude that fasting has benefits that we can not measure. Therefore be grateful the people who can work fast. As Kamal bin Hammam said: "Fasting is the third pillar of Islam after the creed and prayer, in syariatkan Allah because of privileges and benefits such as: peace of mind of holding passion, loving nature and causes to help the poor, equality, whether or rich faqir .
